Music experience: A founding
member, vocalist & manager of 4 THE RECORD, Wayne has been
singing and performing for the past 25 to 30 years, most recently 6
years contemporary vocal music and 12 years as a community theatre
actor, vocalist, and director. He played trumpet 10 years and
dabbles (lightly dabbles) on guitar and piano. He is an OSU
Men's Glee Club alumnus; All Ohio State Fair Youth Choir Alum; arts & concert promoter for the past
10
years; member & former president of his local community arts council; current
staff advisor collegiate a cappella group InChant; and one time
music major at The Ohio State University.
What's on my mp3 player: A lot of a cappella, not to
mention Prince, Jason Mraz, Stone Temple Pilots, Def Leppard, Raoul
Midone, Queen, George Michael, Cadence, Vocaldente, Eminem, Guns N'
Roses, and Blue Jupiter
Little known facts: I grew up in one of the most rural
and socio-economically challenged regions of Appalachia. I served 12 years in the U.S. Armed
Forces and 1 year in a combat zone. My wife and I are parents to 3
beautiful young ladies, 2 of which are twins. "I only make
girls." I am huge Ohio State Buckeye fan! I have a
degree in journalism from Ohio State and have worked as a radio
announcer, advertising account representative, public relations
director, and currently serve as marketing & communications manager
for The Ohio State University at Marion. I am an upbeat
positive person. I am afraid of death or anything related to
death or dying.
My favorites: color: red, soft drink: diet coke,
sports team: Ohio State Buckeyes,
food: lasagna, places to visit: Santa Fe, New Mexico and
Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
